TRAILER: HBO's "Game of Thrones" Teases Epic Season 3 Shenanigans

The third season of the highly-anticipated, must watch HBO show, "Game of Thrones" is slated to return Spring 2013. But for those millions who are geeking out already, the best is yet to come! See for yourself below:

The teaser ran Sunday night shortly before a new episode of "Boardwalk Empire" aired, and featured some portentous foreshadowing. As you saw in the clip above, "The great war is between death and life, ice and fire," and will prominently take place during "A Storm of Swords," the third book in the franchise, which many fans think is the best so far.

"If we lose, the night will never end," the voice concludes over booming drums. Now, if that doesn't get your heart thumping, then we don't know what will. It's tough to tell if that was Melisandre (played by Carice van Houten), but what we can tell you is that this will be must see TV at the top of the new year.
