Trailer: PBS Releases New Clip For Jimi Hendrix Documentary

As a part of a year-long celebration to be held around Jimi Hendrix’s 70th birthday, PBS, Experience Hendrix LLC and Legacy Recordings are raising awareness about the artist’s new documentary, Jimi Hendrix – Hear My Train A-Comin’. Premiering nationwide Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 9:00 p.m. EST on PBS, the highly anticipated TV documentary features previously unseen footage, home movies, photographs and performances. In addition to an expanded home video edition (DVD / Blu-ray), Experience Hendrix LLC and Legacy Recordings will also release a CD and vinyl set that will enthrall audio fans, as Jimi Hendrix Experience: Miami Pop Festival will be made available the same day as the documentary’s airing. Among the friends, family and fellow musicians to have been a part of Jimi Hendrix’s life, Paul McCartney, Steve Winwood, Billy Gibbons, Dweezil Zappa and Vernon Reid are all included in the celebration of the life and legacy of the rock ‘n roll legend.
