TRAILER: Will "Iron Man 3" Surpass Expectations?!

Marvel's first trailer for "Iron Man 3" finds the self-proclaimed "genius, billionaire, playboy philanthropist" going to the dark side.

The two-minute clip reveals glimpses of a story far more darker than its predecessors. In "Iron Man 3," Tony Stark loses everything he ever values, which includes his girl Friday Pepper Potts (played by Gwyneth Paltrow), at the hands of arch-nemesis — the Mandarin — brought to the big screen for the first time by screen legend Ben Kingsley.

Robert Downey Jr is battered in the clip, which finds him falling into snow, his arc reactor flickering on his chest as he removes his face-plate and reveals a bloodied mess. You can check out just how battered Tony Stark/Iron Man will be in the trailer below:
