It's not always easy to promote an album while having to duck and dodge police, but in Tyler, The Creator's case his reason for ducking the authorities wasn't for toting guns or smoking weed like you would expect from a rapper.
Yesterday (May. 10), Odd Future's leading mouthpiece was briefly detained by LAPD during a friendly "meet and greet" for fans. Twitpics quickly hit the Web with Tyler in handcuffs in front of a large group of kids.
Reports initially surfaced stating that the he was taken into police custody. However, RapFix spoke to Tyler's manager who confirmed that the artist was merely detained for creating a public disturbance.
Tyler was simply entertaining fans who had gathered out Westchester High School in Los Angeles to receive tickets to a free Odd Future show. Late last night, the show went off without incident at Club Troubado.
The California native's XL Records debut Goblin is available now worldwide.
