Ultra Music Festival To Add Stops In Japan And South Africa In 2014
Ultra Music Festival is taking over the globe. The larger-than-life dance party announced that the festival will be adding Japan and South Africa to their stops in 2014 2014, making Ultra Worldwide the most international festival brand in the world with a total of nine countries and five continents on board.
Founder and CEO Russell Faibisch said the “demand for world-class electronic acts” in Japan and South Africa had become “truly overwhelming,”, making the new expansion a no brainer.
South Africa will have two shows in Ostrich Farm, Cape Town and Nasrec Showgrounds, Johannesburg on Feb. 14 and 15. The events will be headlined by master mixer Tiesto with supporting acts including W&W, Nicky Romero and Krewella, alongside local acts Goldfish, Euphonik and DJ Fresh. Ultra South Africa will be the first and biggest event of its kind to hit the continent. Tickets go on sale Nov. 1.
The Road To Ultra Tokyo will descend Dec. 20 in Ageha, Tokyo and announce the line-up for Ultra Japan with headlining performances by Above & Beyond and Showtek. Tickets for the Road To Ultra Tokyo are available now and can be copped here.
