Unfunny Man? @LilDuval Gets Blasted With Hate After Questionable Teena Marie Tweet

Lil Duval's never claimed to be a divine tweeter. On the daily his 400,000+ followers can catch wild F-bombs and "basic bitch" rants galore jogging down their timelines. But when it comes to celebrity deaths, it seems like most folks don't tolerate the funny talk.

While Twitter seemingly bypassed an implosion last night during news of soul legend Teena Marie's passing with thousands of fans paying their condolences, Duval says he needed more proof that Miss T had indeed died. "@MsTeenaMarie hey are u dead?" the comedian tweeted, quickly stating after "when u hear about someone dying what's the 1st thing u do? call or hit up the source right? But I'm ignorant"

The tweet sent many into an uproar with some followers even wishing death upon Duval himself: "I HOPE U DIEWITH YO BROKETRIFFLIN ASSU FUCKING LOOSE MONKEY IWILL FIND U BITCH IHOPE U GET FUCKED IN YO BOOTY WIT N AIDS DICKBITCH [sic]," tweeted @LADyTRNA.

But how wrong is Duval really? If so many view Twitter as purely unfiltered entertainment, is a self-proclaimed ignorant entertainer corrupt for tweeting in the same manner he usually does? Perhaps the answer's yes.
