After running his mouth against Def Jam on Twitter last November, Jeezy has caught himself a serious case. According to TMZ, the Atlanta rapper was arrested on his home turf for "battery, false imprisonment, and making terroristic threats against his own son."
Official documents state that Jeezy allegedly got into a brawl with his teen son Jadarius back in September 2012 after beating him and threatening to kill him. In the incident report, Jeezy's son claims that the rapper also choked him and said, "I will put a bullet in your head right now. f I could get away with it, I would kill you."
Jeezy reportedly turned himself into authorities Friday (Jan. 3) after a grand jury warrant was issued for each charge. He was able to bond out soon after for $45,000.
"We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately," Jeezy's attorney tells TMZ. "At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family's privacy."
This isn't the first time trouble and violence has been attached to the Snowman's name. Back in 2010, he was accused of getting arrested in the Bahamas before his manager shut down the rumors. He was also said to have been involved in an altercation with Rick Ross at the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards.
In better times, Jeezy also threw Jenkins a Sweet 16 in Atlanta in 2012.
