Though Usher's had a successful run thus far with his 'OMG Tour,' the 32-year-old father of two just re-upped the old man jokes after suffering an undisclosed injury during a performance in Newark, NJ this past Friday. Due to the impairment, Usher postponed his planned Saturday night concert in Norfolk, VA.
"The attending physician has recommended that [Usher] take the next two days to recuperate and heal," said a statement posted on the singer's website. "The injury is not serious and Mr. Raymond is scheduled to perform Monday night (12/13) in New York City at the first of two sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden."
According to the statement, the Norfolk show will be rescheduled earlier this week for a date "in the near future." Ticketholders will have the option to attend on the rescheduled date or to obtain a full refund.
The North American leg of Usher's "OMG Tour" is currently scheduled to wrap up Dec. 18 in Hartford, CT.
