Usher Wins Primary Custody of Sons, Ex-Wife Tameka Raymond Speaks Out

After several months, the bitter custody battle between Usher and his ex-wife Tameka Foster Raymond has come to an end. The court has awarded Usher primary custody of the couple's two sons, three-year-old Naviyd Ely Raymond and 4-year-old Usher Raymond V. While Usher's primary custody begins Sept. 1, they have yet to work out visitation times. Both still share joint legal custody.

2012 has not been the best year for Tameka Raymond. In July, she lost her 11-year old son Kile Glover, after he suffered a brain injury during a jet ski accident. She now loses her two youngest children through the court system. The former stylist had a few fighting words for Twitter this morning on the subject.

"A woman's loyalty is tested when her man has nothing... A mans loyalty is tested when he has everything!" she tweeted. Raymond later followed up with: "Don't fear the enemy that attacks you... Fear the fake friend that hugs you. There's not much worse."

The tweets are apparent digs at Usher and the children's godmother Linda Brock-White, who testified against Raymond days after vacationing with her and the boys. Brock-White told the court Raymond was a “bad mother,” while Usher accused his ex-wife of having a violent character. According to Usher, Raymond hit him during a dispute and assaulted his girlfriend at one point. Raymond had testified that Usher cheated on her and used drugs.

Usher married Tameka Foster in 2007. She took his last name and still uses it, even though they divorced two years later.
