VIBE’s Daily Additions to the ‘Pod

1. Big Sean (feat. J.Cole & Raekwon) – “24K Of Gold”
This is one of those good examples of everything coming out right, from the beat to the lyrical content. Key Wane gets major cred for crafting such a dope instrumental. Check for this one on the So Many Keys mixtape.

2. The MIDI Mafia (feat. Rockie Fresh) – “Back Down”
There could be something more happening production-wise, but the incorporated Bhangra elements are pretty slick. Rockie’s swift flow makes you realize why Rozay was so quick to snag him up to join MMG.

3. Ben Stevenson – “Falling Off”
Boi-1da shows off his studio versatility on “Falling Off.” The track is super chill, which is a big step away from heavy-hitting hits like Drake’s “Over.” Vocally, Ben Stevenson rides melody & really claims the song as his own. This falls under after hours kick-back music.

4. Metta World (feat. Mistah Fab & Dalya) – “In The Zone”
Look out for The Passion when it appropriately drops during All-Star Weekend.

5. M Stacks – Streets Is Listening (Mixtape)
M Stacks—producer for the likes of Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y—recently teamed up with Boomphones to produced this project. Here’s a fun fact: every track on here is produced using only the Boomphones headphones, no reference monitors or speakers. It features Naledge, Tuki Carter, Vic Mensa and Bizarre from D12. “Get Up” and “Have Mercy” are definite standouts.
