VIBE's Daily Additions to the 'Pod
1. CyHi The Prynce – "Good For Me"
CyHi's been gone for a minute, but the way he's rapping shows that the time he spent out of the limelight has been in the studio. "Good For Me" is one of those songs you can get lost in for it's classic beat & synchronized flow. Throw this on in the background, & the good vibes of this head-knocker will definitely bump through the ceiling.
2. Nina B (feat. Skyzoo & Action Bronson) – "718"
You gotta love a NYC anthem with a beat that goes hard. This one definitely follows suit. Bronson's verse is arguably the standout, but Skyzoo doesn't fall behind far at all.
3. Jay Rock – "YOLA"
If you have dreads, this would be that tune you could shake them to and go apeshit—blasted at high volumes of course.
4. The Kid Daytona – "M.A.D.E. In America"
Although Daytona has a good flow going on, the overall song doesn't propel this past a typical mixtape song. It's cool though.
5. Alley Boy (feat. Big K.R.I.T.) – "I Live This Shit"
There's a middle ground going on here between a southern banger and big-horn marching band music. Funny enough, it kind of works.
