V Playlist: DJ Khaled x J.Cole x Big K.R.I.T. x Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa x K-Young, Ab-Soul, Flying Lotus x Erykah Badu, Sean Kingston x Busta Rhymes, Torae

VIBE's Daily Additions to the 'Pod
1. DJ Khaled (feat. J.Cole, Big K.R.I.T. & Kendrick Lamar) – "They Ready"
Getting these three on a track together was a pretty great idea. It's not as monumental as you'd expect, but that doesn't take away from how dope the song is overall. Maybe if the horn in the background & the bass knocked more, it would give it that extra 'oomph.' We think Kendrick takes it, as far as the best verse, but that's arguable amongst you guys.
2. Wiz Khalifa (feat. K-Young) – "In The Air"
The 80s sci-fi-influ
3. Ab-Soul – "Nibiru"
The thing about TDE—specificall
4. Flying Lotus (feat. Erykah Badu) – "See Thru To U"
Strings, stomps, fast-paced drums, slight climes—you're getting a lot all at once on this song. Although it's primarily an instrumental
5. Sean Kingston (feat. Busta Rhymes) – "How We Survive"
This is one of those "bang the ceiling" chunes, with obvious mainstream pop influence. Veteran reggae heads may find this a little too immature for their taste, but his teen/young adult fans will whine to this just fine.
6. Torae - "The Journey Pt. II"
Torae offers up some fire on this one. His NYC roots shine hard here, letting off bars that are strictly dope hip-hop. We see you homie.
