VIBE’s Daily Additions to the ‘Pod

1. DJ Khaled (feat. Nas, Scarface & DJ Premier) – “Hip Hop”
Taking hints from “I Used To Love H.E.R.” and “Homecoming,” this track takes Hip Hop & personifies “her” with some of the best wordplay we’ve heard all year. Nas definitely takes the cake on this one for sure—especially for that clever VIBE shoutout in his verse!

2. Slaughterhouse – “Goodbye”
The dudes tap into their emotions on this one. With some revealing bars, “Goodbye” really shows off the versatility in their rhymes. So far, this is definitely a standout track on Welcome to: Our House.

3. Rita Ora – “What Makes You Beautiful”
On Rita’s live cover of One Direction’s hit single, she finds a way to tweak it and add her personal touch. It can sound a bit karaoke-ish at points (the beginning for example), but she still sounds great.

4. Rittz (feat. Tech N9ne) – “Bloody Murdah”
It’s almost like Rittz & Tech are battling each other for the title of “Quickest Flow” (watch out Twista). Regardless of who claims that feat, both dudes murder this track—no pun intended.

5. Gucci Mane (feat. Rocko) – “Gutz”
When you have a beat that sounds like it took all of 10 seconds to put together, paired with an easily-annoying chorus, there’s nothing else you can really say about this. It’s just weak all throughout.
