1. The-Dream – "Tender Tendencies"
Terius takes the smooth approach on this latest 1977 album cut. When he's not making club bangers, this seems to be his comfort zone—and ultimately where his strength lies, vocally. Of course there's the Auto-Tune effect here and there, but that doesn't take away from the track's overall appeal.

2. Kirko Bangz – "Keep It Trill"
While it's yet to be determined whether Kirko can actually sing without the Auto-Tune help, this one actually isn't a bad listen. The 90s R&B-influenced beat might be what actually makes this the slow head-rocker that it turned out to be.

3. Solange Knowles - "Lovers In The Parking Lot"
It seems like "Sol-Angel" is going for a more contemporary vibe this time around compared to her Hadley St. Dreams days. Her transition into the modern days of R&B proves to be an easy move with this cool tune about playing the game of love. From first listen, this song gets us very excited to hear what Bey's little sis is deliverimg on her upcoming True EP.

4. Chevy Woods (feat. Nipsey Hussle) – "Neighborhood"
The chorus is a bit too repetitive, but there's a certain feeling you get listening to this that makes it hard to say anything negative about it. This is "chillin'-on-the-porch" music.

5. Stacy Barthe - "To Be Loved"
Barthe's head voice is displayed well on this song. Lyrically, this woman definitely knows the meaning of love like the back of her hand. Simply put, "To Be Loved" is smooth enough to make you feel some sort of way about the state of your own love life, whether positive or negative.
