CNN's Crossfire, once the longest running political debate program, has returned to television. Van Jones, a civil rights activist and the founding president of Rebuild the Dream, sits in with Newt Gingrich, S.E. Cupp and Stephanie Cutter as one of the co-hosts for the revamped show.
Known for his activism and deep community involvement, the liberal Jones is a Yale alumni who was appointed by Obama as Former Special Adviser for Green Jobs. In the clip above, he gives his two cents on the U.S. and Russia's involvement in Syria. (Both nations agreed on a plan to get the chemical weapons out of the country in early 2014.) In a rare case, he finds something he can agree on with his conservative co-host S.E. Cupp. Catch CNN's Crossfire Mondays through Fridays at 6:30PM.
