VIBE And CASHMERE AGENCY Announce 'The VIBE House' At SXSW Music Festival

VIBE Magazine and Cashmere Agency are excited to announce the “THE VIBE HOUSE” at SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas. VIBE and Cashmere Agency’s “THE VIBE HOUSE” kicks-off on March 16^th at Venue 222 (222 East 6^th Street, Austin, TX 78701) and runs through the night of March 19^th; featuring two of the most engaging events to date: VIBE Live and The VIBE House Party.

 

THE VIBE HOUSE is a must-attend showcase and includes:

 

·       VIBE Live: four nights of performances packed with the hottest artists and up-and-comers ranging from Hip Hop, R&B and Dance amongst many other music genres

 

·       The VIBE House Party on March 19^th

 

Both events will engage participants by integrating live streaming of performances, mobile applications and exclusive viral content, including a webisode series featuring performers and a recap of events.

 

In addition, top hip-hop website, AllHipHop.com, will also co-host an evening during THE VIBE HOUSE. The AllHipHop.com team will present some of today’s hottest new artists during the event.

 

Last year VIBE and Cashmere partnered successfully to present the “Respect The West” showcase, lauded by online media as “The Hip Hop event of the week”. “After the success of our SXSW showcase with Cashmere Agency at last year’s festival, teaming up with them again for this event was a natural fit, ” says Chris Smith, President of VIBE Lifestyle Network. “This year, THE VIBE HOUSE will be bigger and offer music lovers more live performances, interactive activities and a gifting lounge. We look forward to making THE VIBE HOUSE a huge success.”

 

 

 

VIBE Live will run four evenings from March 16-19^th and will host live performances each night, including at least two headliners, from some of today’s biggest names in music. In addition, The VIBE House Party, will host a premier daytime event on Saturday, March 19^th from 1pm to 6pm CT, which will include gifting suites, interactive lounges and shows. All events of The VIBE House will be held at the heart of Austin’s live music scene, Venue 222.

Last year, Cashmere Agency and Stampede Management, along with VIBE Magazine, hosted “Respect The West,” which included performances by DJ Quik, MURS, U-N-I, Dom Kennedy, Tha Dogg Pound and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. It was named a “must-see act” in the Pitchfork.com guide to SXSW 2010.
