VIBE Exclusive: De La Soul To Perform at dirtybird Players BBQ Bass Party in Miami
Brace yourself ‘90s babies, quality music fans and burger enthusiasts.
House combines with rap and funky burger bass music on March 21st in Miami with the legendary alt hip-hop trio De La Soul, who will be joining the dirtybird Player’s BBQ throw down at Villa 221. This is the party where ribs and chicken are mowed upon while palm trees sway and the booty-bass-crunk-tronic-delish-step music is turnt up.
Last year, A Tribe Called Quest’s Phife took the stage at the sweaty grill party for a live performance at sunset. For Winter Music Conference 2013, the tradition continues with De La (who is not “dead” despite their second album’s namesake).
"I am so excited to continue where we left off last year by bringing another iconic Hip Hop group to our Miami BBQ,” said Claude VonStroke. “I think everyone will agree that De La Soul at dirtybird is not to be missed."
