Toyota Green Initiative Presents: Back On Campus

The Toyota Green Initiative is an environmental stewardship platform designed to empower people to adopt a sustainable lifestyle. The environment is the most valuable legacy we’ll leave to our children. The more we learn about how green issues affect our communities, the better we can shape their future. We’re providing information on green jobs. We’re working with educators, Historically Black Colleges Universities (HBCUs) and environmental nonprofits. Through Toyota Green Initiative’s eco-conscious articles, videos, campus events, and mentoring efforts, we will move forward together towards a greener tomorrow.

VIBE partnered with TGI to spread awareness of the program through a nostalgic video series following major recording artists as they reflect on their HBCU roots and encourage today's youth to be more environmentally conscious. Featuring the likes of MMG's Wale and Tyler Perry regulars Lance Gross and Keshia Knight Pulliam, the intimate series is enlightening and entertaining.
