Mr. Thicke is having the worst week ever.
Robin Thicke got left behind with his latest offering, Paula, selling a modest 24,000 copies (#9 on Billboard). Thicke's collection of brokenhearted ballads dedicated to estranged wife Paula Patton played especially poorly in the UK where it reportedly only sold 530 copies.
The performance is a far cry from Thicke's 2013 Blurred Lines which sold a whopping 177,000 copies and shot him to the top of the charts last year. The absence of a bonafide hit (see "Blurred Lines") and Thicke's string of public take-me-back stunts may be to blame for the sad sales.
