Wondering why Snoop Dogg insists on being called Snoop Lion? Here’s your answer: “The reggae music gives me a chance to, through Rastafari, push a positive energy with my music, and to project something that Ive always wanted to do that will be excepted an dapriciated because that’s what it was built for.”

Snoop Lion sat down with VIBE to talk about his new album and accompanying film Reincarnated. He spoke to us about those early VIBE cover shoots, his favorite spot in Jamaica, and believing in his own music, even if it’s a departure from his Long Beach roots. He also addresses loosing his buddy Nate Dogg two years ago.
