Victoria's Secret Forced To Apologize For Racist Outfit

Victoria's Secret Forced To Apologize For Racist Outfit

Victoria's Secret Apologizes Native American Headdress

Lingerie giant Victoria's Secret issued an apology this week after a model in their famous fashion show wore a Native American-style headdress on stage. The outfit was roundly criticized by Native American rights groups for being ignorant of tribal history and culture.

The company apologized, saying that the outfit will not be present during the airing of the fashion show next month or used in any catalogues.

“We sincerely apologize as we absolutely had no intention to offend anyone,” the company said in a statement issued over the weekend.
