VIDEO: Jay-Z Inaugurates Barclays Center With New Verse & Big Daddy Kane

"The house that Hov built" -- that's what Jay-Z called the freshly constructed Barclays Center last night (Sept. 28). Hova inaugurated the new 19,000-capacity arena with the first of eight concerts, that included tracks like "99 Problems" and "Brooklyn Go Hard" to a new verse, reportedly dubbed "Rich Porter, Part 2."

"This is Rich Porter, part two/ You can stunt like that when you’re rich before your debut," Jay-Z rapped on the new verse. "Money and the murder, rapper or the trapper / Either way I’m gonna serve ya / Shooters on my team… / No really, I got shooters on my team / Juan or Deron / How you niggas want it, pick a arm / They call me Lucky Lefty… Ball so hard I don’t respect the fuckin’ referees."

Those in attendance included his wife Beyonce, Pharrell, J. Cole, Memphis Bleek, The-Dream, Ester Dean, Magic Johnson and comedian Dave Chappelle. Only one person -- Jay-Z mentor Big Daddy Kane -- jumped onstage with Jigga man during the show. Kane performed three tracks -- "Ain't No Half Steppin'," "Set It Off" and "Warm it Up Kane" -- during Jay-Z's 10-song encore that was capped with "Forever Young."
