OBaH cuts to the core of New York’s vibrant and colorful party scene by depicting the citys streets juxtaposed with nightlife in a grainy throwback video for his tune, “NY is on some shhh.” The NY based producer and DJ’s melodic house track also combines elements of funk and soul, which is reminiscent of peak time hours in the Big Apple’s clubs circa the ‘90s, an era famous for being the concrete jungle’s dance music hay day.

Coming March 7 on OBaH’s three-track EP titled ‘Cross Fade,’ for which many top tier talent are featured, including project including Borahm Lee (Break Science, Pretty Lights), Ethan White (Tortured Soul), B. Satz. (John Forte, Aloe Blacc), Amon (Analog Players Society), John Cave (Talib Kweli), Shayshahn “PhearNone” McPherson (Planet Ubiquity), among others, OBaH is no stranger to steering a dance floor. He can be found every Monday and Tuesday on the decks from 6-11pm at The Top of The Standard (formerly known as The Boom Boom Room), the penthouse lounge at The Standard, Highline in New York City. On March 13th, he joins Rich Medina’s monthly NYC party, Little Ricky’s Rib Shack, at Louie & Chan for his official EP release party.

“’NY is on some shhh’ is my musical tribute to New York,” says OBaH. “Everything about this track is inspired by New York and its influence on me. A hard beat, melodic sample, raw elements, that’s what the ‘NY sound’ represents for me. I wanted to have a song on my EP that inspired people to not only feel a groove but also think about something real, something important in our current situation.”
