Millennials may only know R. Kelly as that singing guy from those 90s music videos, but they will all learn the truth once you tune into IFC this fall!
A tweet came down from on high over at the IFC Channel, just a few minutes ago, and it read, "New Trapped In The Closet coming this fall. Keep up with all the latest here: ifc.tv/Sd22oZ #Trapped."
Fans of the crazy, soap-opera drama filled saga will remember that R. Kelly extended on the popular idea and made it into a 22 chapter long dramedy. Now, with IFC on board, it seems that the Pied Piper of R&B will unleash the furor with 32 new chapters that he previously said he had written for another season of the series. As we're inching deeper and deeper into the fall TV season, IFC has yet to release an exact date, but when Trapped In The Closet initially debuted on IFC and IFC.com in 2007, it delivered heavy traffic numbers for the network.
Each chapter was jam-packed with suspense, mystery, humor and drama that would make Young and the Restless a bit envious.
With Sylvester, Rufus, Rosie the Nosy Neighbor, Pimp Lucius and the whole gang back for more hilarity, IFC presents R. Kelly's sexually-explicit, interconnected hip-hopera (now with little people) for a whole new audience.
