Vin Diesel Conquers The Throne In New 'Riddick' Photo

This little nugget was found on Vin Diesel's official Facebook page and boy, does it look epic!

The upcoming Riddick finds the Fast Six star reprising another role. The photo above finds him adorning a throne looking very bored with the live he's living.

In the film, Riddick finds himself left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. The feeling of being alone only lasts for so long as the infamous intergalactic criminal finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators, mercenaries, and a haunting man with a grudge against Riddick.

The only way off the god-awful planet is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty. The first ship that does arrive introduces Riddick (and the audience) to a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, and eager to kill. With the time running out before the planet reaches its end, Riddick's hunters won't be stopped without leaving there with Riddick's head on a pike.

Karl Urban, Bokeem Woodbine, Dave Bautista, Keri Hilson, Raoul Trujillo and more will star in Riddick when it hits regular theaters and IMAX on September 6.
