It was no Breakfast Club interview, but Love and Hip-Hop’s Jen The Pen and Consequence sat with VIBE Vixen to chat about compromising their relationship and infusing Islamic religion into their daily lives.

From the supertrailer, viewers believed Cons ruled his girl with an iron fist, but Jen quickly clarifies. “People say things like, I have no voice,” she says. “I think there will be times where you see Cons go to bat for me, and if he had no respect for me, he wouldn’t go as hard as he goes for me.”

Like most couples, this hip-hop duo don’t always see eye to eye but they’re finding balance…and letting the cameras in on it.
