A sex scandal is allegedly cooking up between a waffle house CEO and his former personal assistant.
Though the victim's name has not been disclosed, the police report says that a woman identified as a single mother is accusing her boss of forcing her to "perform sexual services" and other derogatory acts during the nine years she was employed by Joseph Rogers Jr., who runs Waffle House in Atlanta. The woman says that Rogers touched her inappropriately and that she endured the alleged harassment because she couldn't find another job with comparable pay, according to CBS News. She resigned after her son secured a full college scholarship.
To make matters even more complicated, the two have reportedly filed lawsuits against each other. The Marietta Daily Journal reported that Rogers sued the woman in Cobb County Superior Court on Sept. 14, but other documents showed that she filed a lawsuit against Rogers in Fulton County State Court on Sept. 19.
While Atlanta officials are keeping tight-lipped about the case, Sgt. Gregory Lyon says, "I can tell you that this is an open and ongoing investigation."
