According to the New York Daily News, it was his braggadocios tweeting that really got the Brooklyn rapper in trouble, tweeting that he "beat a body."
Diggs escaped a charge in 2001, after two witnesses refused to testify to the Supreme Court against the slaying of Frederick Brooks. The indictment says he was also charged for the 2008 murder of Richard Russo, and Victor Zapata in 2009.
A police investigation in 2008 discovered Diggs made over 65 drug buys from the Gowanus Houses where his victims were slain. Diggs could face the death penalty if convicted. --Jolie Sanchez
