Wake Flocka Flame: "Somebody Was Sent To Kill Me"

Atlanta rapper Wacka Flocka Flame believes Tuesday’s shooting was a calculated murder attempt.

The Gucci Mane affiliate called into Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 and spoke to the Durrty Boyz about the recent robbery attempt at Bubble Bath Express car wash that left him with “broke ribs.” 

"Somebody was sent to kill me," the rapper told the station over the phone. “He was so scared, he let me get out the car and grab what I tried to get from him," Flocka said. "He hit me in my arm and my whole right side went out. Trust me, he could have did his job if he wasn't scared. That's the word out to him and his people.”

According to a police report obtained through MTV News, though, the rapper was actually sitting in his car during the robbery attempt and was trying to take his watch off for the shooter, who reportedly got away with the rapper’s necklace and bracelet.
