Summer Jam XX popped off with hip-hop’s finest ripping the main stage and throwing out some unexpected guests.
First, Joe Budden brought some Mood Muzik with the help of singer Tank and Slaughterhouse member Joell Ortiz.
Miguel made all the ladies scream with special appearances from J. Cole for "Power Trip" and Mariah Carey for "#Beautiful."
Brooklyn's own Fabolous then shut it down by bringing out Pusha T for "Life Is So Exciting" and the Queen B Lil Kim.
Chris Brown followed up with his smash "Fine China" and brought out Sean Kingston for a live rendition of "Beat It."
After making amends with Hot 97's Peter Rosenberg, Nicki Minaj popped up on the Summer Jam stage during 2 Chainz' set for a turnt up mash-up of "I Luv Dem Strippers/ Beez In The Trap."
The heavy hitters of the A$AP Mob came through next, rocking the venue with crowd-pleasers "Peso" and A$AP Ferg’s remix to "Work." The PMF even brought out Bone Thugs-N-Harmony before bringing out 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar for ''Fuckin Problem."
Even when the rain started to pour, Kendrick Lamar showed up in top form and brought the crowd higher with his highly-praised good kid, m.A.A.d. city joints "Money Trees," "Backstreet Freestyle," "m.A.A.d. City" and his verse off the "U.O.E.N.O. (Remix)." The entire Top Dawg family also shined on-stage.
Next up was the unexpected segment from Papoose, whose presence generated memes immediately following the event.
To cap off the night, French Montana threw down his street bangers "Ochocinco" and brought out Ace Hood and DJ Khaled for "Bugatti." The biggest surprise of the night was a healthy-looking Lil Wayne, who emerged for "Pop That" alongside the Coke Boy and MMG bawse Rick Ross.
