In a feat that has surprisingly not been done before, an actress has taken to YouTube to perform Beyonce songs as dramatic monologues.
Nina Millin, creator of the “Beyoncelogues,” utilizes simple black-and-white presentation as she turns songs like “If I Were A Boy” and “Mine” into drama-filled expressive pieces, often times changing the tandem with which Queen Bey originally sung the words for a more conversational effect. And it is, in a word, genius.
"I think I misunderstood how beloved Beyoncé is," Millin told Esquire. “I think we're really on to something here."
