Bruno Mars hit the Super Bowl XLVIII stage tonight (Feb. 2) for an energetic performance featuring special guests Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Running through hits including "Locked Out of Heaven," "Treasure" and "Runaway," Bruno performed in his usual fashion: complete with a full band, backup singers and dancers and a shuffle that would make James Brown proud. Taking a break from his own tracks to let Red Hot Chili Peppers tear it down with "Give It Away," the singer head-banged with the rock band before transitioning into a beautiful rendition of "Just The Way You Are," which was prefaced by a video montage of U.S. military officers giving messages to their loved ones. Way to make his mark on Super Bowl halftime history.
