Infinity Ward released a gameplay trailer that gives players a look at the all-new 1-4 player co-op mode which blends FPS base defense, fast-paced survival action, class leveling and scavenging. A must see!
Call of Duty: Ghosts introduces their new Extinction Mode, which plays like a Horde-like cooperative experience that aims to be the answer to Treyarch's massively popular Zombies game type.
It is good to see the company embracing what they learned from Treyarch, as players will be able to hook up with friends inside a crazy four-player co-op mode to take on alien invaders instead of the living dead. For those who missed the leaked achievement lists that came out at the beginning of the months, this past weekend found eagle-eyed gamers seeing the first image of the Extinction aliens along with details on all 14 Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer maps.
Due to all the hoopla generated, Infinity Ward and Activision released the Extinction gameplay trailer, which details only one map and showcases a dark and brooding aesthetic.

Leveling and scavenging are two of our favorite things to do here at VIBE, so, outside of the shift in enemy factions, Extinction looks to be high on our list when Call of Duty: Ghosts releases on November 5, 2013.
The game will be available for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U. These will also be available Day 1 when the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 drop on their respective launch dates.
