With all the hubbub about the world ending the past few years, guess we can all crack a few jokes about what could have been.
In Revelations (from the Bible), the Rapture is a prophesy in which Jesus Christ returns to Earth to take all of His followers into heaving, leaving unbelievers behind in an apocalyptic wasteland as the Anti-Christ tries to take over the world. But in Paul Middleditch's comedy Rapturepalooza, Craig Robinson (We The Peeples), Anna Kendrick and John Francis Daley are using the religious event for comedic fodder.
Middleditch's post-apocalyptic comedy is one of three like it due out this year, along with Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen's This Is the End and Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg's The World's End. It looks like the best and worst end of days comedies are coming this year. Which one will have you laughing out loud?
