Watch: Eminem Talks Producing, Being The Greatest Rapper And Coping With Fame With Zane Lowe (Pt. 2)

Adelle Platon / November 19, 2013

The blue-eyed rap monster returns for part two of his sit-down with Zane Lowe. He confirms that he is still peeing in the floor within the first three minutes but then gets into the nitty gritty of hopping into the producer’s chair for MMLP2 again and watching the evolution of hip-hop as a fan. He also says that he’s “not stupid” and can hear when a song has a certain mainstream appeal but at the end of the day, he just wants to push out what he’s created and be left alone.

“I’m not gonna lie. I still wish it today,” said Em after being asked about his “Monster” record with Rihanna. “It was like this thing where I want this attention for this music but then I wanna be able to go in public and I wanna be able to eat a fucking sandwich and be left alone because I’ve never been an attention seeker, and it seems like hell of a career choice. That’s not why I do it.” Watch the second installment above.
