With the teaser fresh in everyone's minds, ABC has unveiled its first full promo for Joss Whedon's highly anticipated new series Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. We have the video for you after the break.
Yes, in case you were wondering, the clip is just as epic as you were expecting it to be. The 30-second clip begins with quick glimpses of the Hulk, Thor (well, at least his Mjölnir) and Captain America's shield. Wait, was that a quick glimpse of Joss Whedon's former Angel cast member, J. August Richards, as Luke Cage at the 17-second mark?! We'll let you guys weigh in on that one!
See the promo spot for yourself below:
"We work the cases that S.H.I.E.L.D. hasn't classifed: The strange, the unknown," Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) says in the promo. "It's not just spy vs. spy anymore. The whole world is in on the action." The espionage and secret military law-enforcement agency in the Marvel Comics Universe is highly anticipated and it's arrival on ABC as a serial will serve as a tie-in to the Phase Two initiative of the Marvel movie roll-out. Joss Whedon, who wrote and directed the big-screen version of The Avengers, will shepherd the program alongside his brother Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen (Dollhouse).
The new footage gives us our first look at stars Ming-Na, Chloe Bennet and Brett Dalton in action, as well as Coulson's hot new car, which is not to be messed with. Superhero geeks and fans can watch Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. when it makes its debut this fall on ABC.
