Your favorite Boy Meets World characters are back but this time, they're old.
Cory Matthews (played by Ben Savage) and Topanga Lawrence (Danielle Fishel) are back in action, raising their own family in New York City. One of the most beloved couples in syndicated history go half on a daughter, Riley (Rowan Blanchard). Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) is Riley's bestie and tries to get that old thing back a la Cory and Shawn's bromance in the original Boy Meets World. The rest of the gang, specifically Shawn Hunter (played by Rider Strong) and Cory's parents (Besty Randle and William Russ) will also appear in a special holiday episode.
Spoiler alert: Lee Norris who played A1 geek, Minkus, will also be making a cameo. Norris told E! Online, "I've had a great time being back on set with some of my old friends. It still amazes me how many people love and remember Minkus, and I'm excited for the fans to catch up with him after all these years."
The new series, set to take over Disney Channel, reads more G-rated and skews more towards the tween demographic but still offers up the heart-tugging awws of its '90s predecessor. Still, rubbing your eyes and seeing Cory and Topanga as parents makes the nostalgia all the more real. Watch the trailer below.
