Documentarian Eugene Jarecki has already tackled such candid topics as military supremacy within the United States (Why We Fight), the hidden side of human nature through the use of science of economics (Freakonomics) and one involving our nation's presidents in Reagan. Now, his latest film, The House I Live In, plunges audiences into the frontlines of the "war on drugs," looking deeply into its systemic failures, exposing the true human cost of the current approach and offering inspiring solutions for change.

The film, which won the Grand Jury prize at the Sundance Film Festival in January, finds Jarecki talking to activists, prisoners, legal experts, journalist and more to paint an expansive portrait of the subject.
