Watch: J. Cole Talks About Michael Brown’s Shooting, His Trip To Ferguson

After the release of J. Cole’s pivotal track “Be Free,” which focused on the shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown, the North Carolina-native traveled to Ferguson, Mo. to pay his respects to the family of the unarmed teenager who was fatally shot by police officer Darren Wilson.

In an interview with Complex, the “Dreams” rapper talked about his thoughts on the incident, and the community of Ferguson.
