Diddy may have invented the remix (Jermaine Dupri would disagree) but Kanye West is taking it to the (almost) big-screen with his reworking of the trailer for a new Lindsay Lohan-starring film called The Canyons.
Along with Noah Goldstein, Mr. West swapped out a dubstep-influenced sound for a sparse, piano instrumental. It's haunting, with the feel and intensity of a great rap album intro that builds with strings and heavy bass. This is the (DONDA) remix!
Kanye's aforementioned creative agency has been quite busy of late, anchoring much of the creative around Yeezus as well as visual direction for Kanye's "Black Skinhead" and Big Sean's "Fire" videos.

The Canyons hits theaters everywhere today (Aug. 2).
