Lily Allen’s brilliantly titled new album Sheezus was an instant attention grabber.

A magnet for controversy, the UK pop star made some bold statement’s on the album’s title track, calling out everyone from Beyoncé and Katy Perry to Rihanna and Lorde. Later, on “Insincerely Yours” she takes a swipe at the high fashion industry, in the process mentioning Rita Ora, Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn (who confronted her on Twitter). Yikes.

The 29-year-old singer sat down with VIBE last week to clear up some of the hotter topics on Sheezus, her first album in five years after taking time off to have two kids. Here, Lily Allen speaks on flipping Kanye’s album title, running into Dunn at the Met Gala, insecurities and being a mom.

Sheezus is available on iTunes, Spotify and physical retailers now.
