This Memorial Day weekend Electric Daisy Carnival will pitch its tents in New York; and even if you can’t make it all the way to the east coast, you won’t have to miss out on all the festival has to offer.
Revolutionary radio company SiriusXM will be broadcasting live from the festival grounds at MetLife Stadium this year. Spanning over Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day weekend while hosting over 50,000 people, Electric Daisy Carnival will be able to expand their audience more than ever before through Electric Area, SiriusXM’s one stop shop for electronic music.
Through it’s “The Best of EDC NY” series, SiriusXM will broadcast live sets from world famous headlining acts such as legendary producer Afrojack, Swedish House Mafia’s own Steve Angello, electronic pioneer Bassnectar and rising star Martin Garrix. Fans will be transported to the fairgrounds from the comforts of their own homes through SiriusXM’s services, experiencing their favorite electronic music producers with just the turn of a dial. Audiences will also be able to stay tuned to the ones to watch through Electric Area’s “EDC Discovery” sets, which looks to focus on the new generation of stars such as Dutch producer Dannic, Diplo collaborator DJ Snake, and Montreal duo Adventure Club, EDC Discovery
