You may have to wait until 2014 for Louis C.K. to return to your television on a weekly basis, but you're only mere weeks away from seeing his next HBO stand-up special.

Loveable loser Louis C.K. has proven to be the king of the comedy mountain, as his latest effort, Oh My God, hits HBO next month. The teaser for the special has just gone online, and it is full of the personality that has made Louis C.K. one of the most popular comedians of the past few years.

Poking fun at the nature of TV promos, the idea of his own popularity and unlikely stardom, Louis C.K. admits that this special is really just him telling jokes. Which is what the world really wants. Premiering on April 13, 2013, Oh My God is an hour-long stand-up concert that was recorded last month in Phoenix and showcases the Emmy- and Grammy-winning comedian riffing on such topics as "the food chain, animals, divorce, strange anecdotes, broken morality, murder, and mortality." If you have yet to hear a killer food-chain joke, our guess is that you're about to when you tune into the master self-loather.
