Reese Witherspoon's arrest video will make you hate cops even more.
Footage of the Oscar-winning mom of three with a clean rep (until last April 19) getting arrested in Atlanta by a douchebag cop has surfaced on the Internet. In the video, a seemingly nonthreatening, yet mouthy Witherspoon can be seen getting out of her car to the aid of her husband, while he is getting booked for a DUI.
After the cop tells her to stay in the vehicle, Witherspoon gets out and charges that she is an "American citizen and allowed to stand on American ground and ask any question" she wants to ask. The policeman does not concur.
The actress went on Good Morning America to apologies for her actions. "It's one of those nights, you know, we went out to dinner in Atlanta and we had one too many glasses of wine and we thought we were fine to drive and we absolutely were not," she told GMA's George Stephanopoulos. "And it's just completely unacceptable and we are so sorry and embarrassed. And we know better. And we shouldn't have done that."
