We have an exclusive clip for Trevor White's upcoming indie crime drama titled Jamesy Boy. The cast is all-star and the project boasts some up-and-coming talent in the form of Taissa Farmiga and Spencer Lofranco.
This just released clip from White's film finds Mary Louise-Parker playing the mother of a troubled teen (Lofranco) who is rejected admission from a public school because of his sordid past.
Lofranco's character, James Burns, leaves the suburban confines where he's a part of a street gang for the not-so-posh lifestyle of a maximum-security prison. Surrounded by the hardest criminals the yard has to offer, Burns forms an uneasy friendship with a convicted murderer (Ving Rhames) who becomes his mentor and helps him to turn his young life around for the better.
The clip, which you can watch below, shows why it is better to have friends you can trust in prison than to be by one's self:
Written and directed by Trevor White, Jamesy Boy also stars James Woods as the evil prison presence, Lt. Falton. Based on a true story, this film should be out and available for viewing now.
