Watch: Wiz Khalifa Calls Tyga’s ‘Under The Influence’ Exit A ‘Wack Move’
Wiz Khalifa’s “Under The Influence Of Music” tour boasts a strong lineup, with Young Jeezy Mack Wilds and Ty Dolla $ign all holding spots on the roster. In a recent interview with Power 99 in Philadelphia, Wiz shared how he and the other guys had been getting along since they hit the road earlier this week.
“The chemistry is good. It just started last night, and everybody was outside in the back, skating around, smoking, chilling, it was tight,” he said. “We all watched each other’s shows. It’s going to be good, it’s going to be a lot of fun because nobody’s bougie and we all hung out together before.”
Wiz also discussed one unfortunate loss from the tour’s lineup: Tyga. Detailing how the news had been broken to him, the “We Dem Boyz” rapper expressed that he was displeased.
“Very [disappointing]. He didn’t tell me at all. His people were just like, ‘Nah, we ain’t gonna be on the tour,” he said. “he said he’s filming a movie and finishing his album, but that’s a wack excuse.”
Though ensuring the radio hosts that he and the Young Money rapper were still “cool,” and that they would eventually discuss their differences, Wiz explained why he felt Tyga’s excuse was poor.
“I felt like that was just corny, man. We’re better than that. You don’t say ‘album and a movie’ just to sound like you got something to do, ‘cause I did my album before my tour and I’m shooting a movie as soon as I get home off of the tour. And I got a son too. So at the end of the day it’s like, what do you want to do with your life?”
