What You Need To Know About The Updated Twitter RSVP Process

After ending midnight drops last April, Nike enacted the “Twitter RSVP” service—which has been met with both positive & negative feedback. Now, new changes to the process may make things easier.

According to Nike Inc., participating official Nike Twitter accounts will send a tweet on the RSVP date at a random time to begin the Twitter RSVP process. This tweet will include a product specific hashtag that is circled in a provided image.

Then, users must send a Direct Message—or DM— to the store that includes the product-specific hashtag, your first and last name, and shoe size (limit one).

A confirmation Direct Message is then sent from the store based on time of RSVP request and available sizes. Users with a confirmation DM are required to pick up the product from the store on launch date during the specified timeframe. All unclaimed items are liable to be re-launched at the store’s discretion.
