Etched into stone with a heart and a cross, the title of Houston's most famous song, originally written and performed by Dolly Parton, echoes the sentiments of her legacy. The legendary singer is buried in Westfield, New Jersey's Fairview Cemetery in the plot next to her father as she wished, the Huffington Post reports.
"I Will Always Love You" reigned at the top of the charts for 14 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming one of the most captivating records of 1993. Houston is survived by her daughter Bobbi Kristina, who became recently engaged to Nick Gordon last week (July 10). —Andrew Asare
