There was an ugly rumor recently circulating around the web that legendary singer Whitney Houston was out of money. Radar Online had reported the "Million Dollar Bill" songstress had spent her fortune and was so broke she resorted to asking family and friends for money. They also claimed that she was being supported by various industry friends.
Now a representative for Whitney Houston has fired back at the claims, saying all the rumors are untrue.
In a statement to CNN, the rep said they are "totally false and ridiculous. She just made a movie with Jordin Sparks – 'Sparkle.'" She continued, "In case you didn't know, "People get paid to make movies. [Houston's] not broke."
The 'Sparkle' movie, which stars Whitney Houston, Jordin Sparks, and Mike Epps, will be hitting movie theaters August 10.
