Looks like Kanye West is eyeing a pretty iconic collaboration.
After recently being spotted at Sir Paul McCartney’s Dodger Stadium concert earlier this week, reports are now in that he rapper is looking to recruit the legendary Beatle on his upcoming album.
According to The Sun, West and McCartney have become quite friendly, and what would be one of Yeezy’s most notable collabos to date is actually a real possibility:
“Kanye really respects music legends and is still putting the finishing touches to his new album,” an unnamed source reportedly shared. “He has been tapping Macca up for a while about working together. Kanye and Paul have known each other for a long time but became more friendly recently,” the source also said. “There’s every chance they’ll head into the studio together.”
Without so much as an official single, West’s upcoming effort is garnering quite the wave of anticipation. A leaked version of his song “All Day” topped a Billboard chart this week as well. Still not many official details as to what Yeezy actually has up his Givenchy sleeve, however. Stay tuned.
